The research is part of Aquae Patavinae project and it deals the study of territorial transformation in Monteortone (Abano Terme), during different phases of settlement, connected to exploitation of thermal resources. The focus of attention is on period between XVI and XIX century, that gives a lot of cartographic documentation. The methodological approach is based on integration of more sources, managed in a GIS, like the historical cartography, aerial and satellite images, from which we derive useful information to interpret the landscape transformation and to process multidimensional scenery: 2D view to observe spatial distribution of elements, 2.5D to highlight relation with geomorphology of region, 3D to propose virtual reconstruction of landscape in the mid 18th century and 4D to combine temporal information. The choice of standard formats for data storage, enables inclusion of results related the ongoing study on roman archaeological evidence, by extending chronological interval, and datasets, concerning euganean thermal area, by widening territorial research.

Abstract
The choice of standard formats for data storage, enables inclusion of results related the ongoing study on roman archaeological evidence, by extending chronological interval, and datasets, concerning euganean thermal area, by widening territorial research.Pubblicazioni consigliate
