The article focuses on Kelsens's interpretation of ancient philosophy (Plato, Aristotle) as developed by Kelsen during his entire career. Starting from the Essays published by Kelsen in "Imago" in the 30's and concluding with the contributions of the 50's, Kelsen's interest on Plato and Aristotle keep constant. I suggest that Kelsen's interpretation of ancient philosophy is widely influenced by the sociology of power developed by Max Weber. This ifluence makes very difficult to evaluate positively Kelsen's interpretation.

Abstract
The article focuses on Kelsens's interpretation of ancient philosophy (Plato, Aristotle) as developed by Kelsen during his entire career. Starting from the Essays published by Kelsen in "Imago" in the 30's and concluding with the contributions of the 50's, Kelsen's interest on Plato and Aristotle keep constant. I suggest that Kelsen's interpretation of ancient philosophy is widely influenced by the sociology of power developed by Max Weber. This ifluence makes very difficult to evaluate positively Kelsen's interpretation.File in questo prodotto:
