The article presents the methodological approach adopted in the 4th Coimbra Group ACP TF Winter School (WS) regarding “Urban Changes and Social Dynamics in Africa”, occurred at the University of Khartoum from the 20th to 31st January 2014. The purpose was to perform a territorial experience as a setting for learning and reflecting on territorial processes: basically, learning through experience. The methodology aims to promote an orientation of listening, reading and interpretation of the territory in a perspective of active learning.
