The dermatological collection of the Museum of Pathological Anatomy at the University of Padua, whose specimens were collected between 1850 and 1930, is well represented with different specimens, among them the most significant are those representing leprosy, with four heads showing the typical facies leprosa, and syphilis. These specimens, preserved in formalin, come from the last years of the nineteenth century, and were probably studied by Achille Breda (1850-1934) who founded the modern school of Dermatology in Padua.
