Integrated control of meshed power grids with multiple feeding points and distributed power sources has a great potential to increase safety, efficiency, quality, and flexibility of grid operation, by taking advantage of inherent control capabilities of distributed power sources. This paper describes a generalized approach to integrated control, which can be applied irrespective of grid topology, type of sources, and variability of operating conditions. Simulation results demonstrate the capabilities of the proposed control in the case of a residential settlement equipped with renewable sources and energy storage units.

Abstract
Integrated control of meshed power grids with multiple feeding points and distributed power sources has a great potential to increase safety, efficiency, quality, and flexibility of grid operation, by taking advantage of inherent control capabilities of distributed power sources. This paper describes a generalized approach to integrated control, which can be applied irrespective of grid topology, type of sources, and variability of operating conditions. Simulation results demonstrate the capabilities of the proposed control in the case of a residential settlement equipped with renewable sources and energy storage units.File in questo prodotto:
