This work presents a seismic risk map for Italy. The seismic risk map is derived on the basis of direct loss estimates calculated for several earthquake scenarios selected on the basis of the historical catalogue of Italian earthquakes. The expected annual loss allows condensing scenario loss values of each municipality, and therefore it has been used as risk-targeted indicator. Finally, some remarks are provided regarding the comparison between hazard and risk maps.
