Abstract

Cemeteries, graves and funerary inscriptions of Roman age are topographic markers for understanding settlement’s dynamics, countryside’s organization and road systems. In this paper a research about Roman streets in Non Valley (Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy) will be presented. The analysis of burials distribution, integrated by many sources and methods, has allowed us to trace the original paths of Roman streets and to investigate how the road segments changed their importance during the imperial age.
