The deliverable synthesizes the results of the Inventory of Innovative Mechanisms at a European scale undertaken as part of Task 1.1 in Work Package 1 of SINCERE, a H2020 project. Initially, it illustrates the structure of the framework that has been used to systematize the information, its rationale, and its components. Then it describes the methodology of data collection and presents the results of the Inventory and attempts at a first systematization of its information. Finally, it concludes with an analysis of the policy instruments used by the Innovative Mechanisms and offers an analysis of innovation types included in the IMs.
