This paper aims to discuss the preliminary studies about a Middle Imperial building in Nora (Sardinia), carried out by the University of Padova. This context represents an extraordinary case-study, given the recovery of more than 17000 fragments of wall paintings. The stratigraphic conditions allow to assign most of the archaeological finds to the collapse levels of the plastered mud brick walls and to the painted ceilings.

Abstract
This paper aims to discuss the preliminary studies about a Middle Imperial building in Nora (Sardinia), carried out by the University of Padova. This context represents an extraordinary case-study, given the recovery of more than 17000 fragments of wall paintings. The stratigraphic conditions allow to assign most of the archaeological finds to the collapse levels of the plastered mud brick walls and to the painted ceilings.File in questo prodotto:
