Status and trends for coastal marine habitats of Europe and identification of potential agency and NGO partners

Collect current distributional information on habitats in temperate bays, estuaries, and nearshore shelf areas of Europe and the Mediterranean (see Foster et al., adapted from Briggs for a description of Biome and Realms). 2. Identify regional trends (current and historical) in the distributions of these habitats. 3. Identify regional information on sources of impact to and condition of these habitats. 4. Identify programs, reports, data bases that provide summative information of the distribution and condition of temperate bays and estuaries and their habitats at the national and regional levels 5. Identify key agencies, organizations, research programs that work at multi-country scales.
