This book consists of 20 chapters by as many scholars which cover a wide range of topics related to the Patriarchate of Aquileia. It presents the final result of the project “ILAPA-Identità, liturgia e arte nel Patriarcato di Aquileia (560 ca.-1420)”. In line with the approach and framework of the project, the scholars involved in the publication belong to different disciplines and hence tackle communal issues from intersecting and complementary perspectives, using a variety of methodologies.
