Banking transactions and services

The book examines the activities of banks from the perspective of the relationships with the market via an analysis of the transactions and services offered to customers. Other than lending and deposit transactions and payment services, investment and insurance services are also highlighted; these are two areas of business in which banks are increasingly involved thanks to the implementation of a diversification strategy. There are three other areas of particular importance in banks which require studying in order to analyse the transactions and services featured in this book and, that is, transparency in the relationships with customers, bank current accounts and the creditworthiness assessment process. This book is aimed at students enrolled in Business Administration and Economics degree courses. However, it will also appeal to any bank stakeholders (consumers, professionals, businesses) who wish to gain useful knowledge to manage the relations with banks efficiently and effectively.
