Most performance rule system compute deviations by using a set of weighted rules. In this paper we describe a method of parameter (or weight) estimation, so that the rule system can generate a performance that will be as similar as possible to a human interpretation of a given score. The method allows either a global and a time varying estimation on different time scales.
