This paper deals with the analysis and comparison between the performance of a Synchronous Reluctance (SynRel) motor and a Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance (PMARel) motor, whose rotors have been realized using an Additive Manufacturing process named Laser Powder Bed Fusion. After a preliminary analysis and comparison of the two rotor configurations, the two solutions have been realized and tested to verify their actual performance.

Abstract
