The study of complex fluid phases is pursued with the aid of computer simulations. Starting from n-alkanes and ending on polymeric matrix the microscopical quantities are evaluated and compared to the experimental evidences by mean of different approaches. The targets of this work are membranes based on ionic liquid crystals which are employed in the production of clean water from seawater.

Abstract
