The area of the Monte Pasubio is characterized from the ample outcrop of the Jurassic – Cretaceous sedimentary units. In the paper here presented, the most characteristics lithofacies of the Calcari Grigi group has been described and represented. The paper also highlights the relevant synsedimentary tectonics which exerted a strong control on facies distribution and thickness variation of the lower Jurassic formations.
