Analisi log-lineare. Applicazioni con variabili collegate al problema della violenza sessuale.

In this paper the saturated log-linear model for the analysis of three dimensional contingency tables is presented. In order to illustrate the characteristics of the model, some applications have been considered in the context of specific variables related to the problem of raping. More precisely, this study takes into consideration how three Italian newspapers deal with the above mentionated problem in three different years, from 1977 to 1997. The results show that the log-linear model considered represents a very useful and refined tool in order to develop a very analytic investigation of the structure of the association between categorical variables.
