The article concerns the outlining of a professional figure, the educational consultant for audiovisual production that, at least in Italy, seems to be “tangential” to the media system. The question is tackled referring to the work undertaken in this direction by MEAM - Master in Educazione Audiovisiva e Multimediale (Master’s Degree in Audiovisual and Multimedial Education) of Padua University – and collaterally to the collaboration between a production group, Gli Alcuni, and the Educational Technologies Sector of the Department of Educational Sciences of Padua University.
