Paediatric orthopedists should distinguish true congenital hemyhiperthrophy from physiological heteometry as hemyhypertrophic children are reported at increased risks of malignant embryonal intra- abdominal tumors (Wils’ tumour or hepatoblastoma). Purpose of this study is to state the incidence of these syndromes in a large group of children affected by intra- abdominal embryonal tumours. The importance of early diagnosis of congenital hemyhytrophy is emphasized.

Abstract
Paediatric orthopedists should distinguish true congenital hemyhiperthrophy from physiological heteometry as hemyhypertrophic children are reported at increased risks of malignant embryonal intra- abdominal tumors (Wils’ tumour or hepatoblastoma). Purpose of this study is to state the incidence of these syndromes in a large group of children affected by intra- abdominal embryonal tumours. The importance of early diagnosis of congenital hemyhytrophy is emphasized.File in questo prodotto:
