The maculo-ocular reflex (MOR), while it increases the amplitude and decreases the phase lead of the vertical ampullo-ocular reflex at low frequencies of sinusoidal stimulation, abolishes the anticompensatory fast phases at high frequencies. We found that maculo-ocular responses were not properly oriented with respect to the stimulation plane when the head or stimulus inclination were different.
