Abstract

The assumption that pressures of water and gas in concrete at high temperature are equal one to another and its theoretical consequences are discussed. The results of hygro-thermal simulations performed by Tenchev and Purnell are analysed and compared to the Authors' results based on the assumption about local thermodynamic equilibrium.
