The study consists in a geostatistical analysis of ammonia concentration in the aquifers of the Venetian alluvial plain in NE Italy. We used the indicator kriging to perform this analysis and to predict the distribution of concentration in studied area. Indicator kriging is a non-parametric kriging which also permits to use datasets composed of both numerical and qualitative data. With this method, we were also able to calculate the probability of exceeding a particular threshold in this area.
