The article presents the second part of a research that considers the sense crisis that characterizes the reproductive question in the West, between Eight-hundred and Nine-hundred, founded on the symbolic coordinates that link the North and the South of Europe. The basis of the research concerns the loss of sense of the paternal word, or otherwise the silence of the father. Through the analysis of some of the literary texts that are characterised by misogyny and that have been interpreted through the concept of the decline of western traditional thinking in the philosopher Emanuele Severino’s prospective, this second part analyses the crisis of morals. This second part tracks signs of hatred that men show towards women, that may be considered as a cause of a great vocation to sterility. Misogyny can in fact be considered as a symptom of the masculine crisis about procreation, to which the resumption of the traditionalism are linked, in the expression of pirandellism and mafia cynicism, that not only characterises Italy.
