The main aim of this work is to report a structural analysis carried out on three white willow riparian forests along the riverbanks of the middle course of Brenta river (N-E Italy). In order to analyze these forest, the basic dendrometric parameters have been detected. During the firs data elaboration, some diametric classes were found partially or completely missing. The most probable hypotesis was connected with the idrologic regimen of the river and his past flood peaks, but it was possible to link just one situation, to a big event occurred in 1996.
