The commercial macroreticular cation exchanger resin Lewatit K2621/H+ and two gel-type resins bearing –SO3H and –SMe functionalities are used to produce two Pd0/resin(H+) and one Pd0-Au0/resin catalysts that are tested in the direct synthesis of H2O2 in methanol/water (2.5:1) at -10°C and moderate H2 and O2 pressures. Molar yields in H2O2 range from 31% (Pd0-Au0/resin) to 100% (Pd0/K2621/H+).

Abstract
