Abstract
In this work we present some results concerning the optical properties of metallic nanoclusters embedded in dielectric matrices. After a brief historical presentation of the theoretical approach to the comprehension of the light-particle interaction from a semi-classical point of view, we discuss some typical experimental cases where the interplay between structural and optical analysis demonstrated to be fundamental for a deeper understanding of the materials properties.File in questo prodotto:
