The harvester operator is an highly specialized professional who requires a specific training, taking advantage of modern simulation techniques. In the present work the first harvester operator course held in Italy is described, especially analysing the results from the simulator training sessions. The participants‘ feedback was mostly positive, leaving the prospect to offer again this kind of course in the future.
