The -carbido dimer [(PcFe)2C] and its derivatives of formula [((L)PcFe)2C] (L = acetone, pyridine, 4-methylpyridine, 1- methylimidazole, piperidine) have been prepared and studied by IR, Mossbauer, EPR, and NMR spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility determinations. All of the complexes appear to contain Fe(IV).
