The “Grotta della Donna” (Cave of the Woman) is a cave of the Lessini Mountains (Veneto) resulting from both the karstic process and tectonic movements. In its structure and sediments have been registered recent earthquakes expressions of the geologic evolution of the area.The cave, even if relatively small, is very interesting beside for its setting in the context of tectonic structures and its geomorphological characters, also for the presence of types of movement’s indicators never described until now in other caves.
