Endocrine disruptors are a group of environmental pollutants of both natural and synthetic origin, suspected to be able of interfering with the endocrine system and consequently causing adverse effects on living organisms. An association between exposition to endocrine disrupters and human diseases – such as infertility, polyabortivity, neuro-behavioural disorders, precocious puberty – has recently directed the research activity on pathways and modes of exposure to endocrine disrupters of the general population. It was then necessary and urgent to explore whether in Italy water for human consumption could be a possible exposure vehicle to endocrine disrupters. The present study, promoted by the AMGA Foundation, yielded some relevant preliminary answers.

Abstract
The present study, promoted by the AMGA Foundation, yielded some relevant preliminary answers.Pubblicazioni consigliate
