Using the 116 Cd( 7Li,p2n )reaction, we have located a 6.4 us 10+ isomer in 120 Sn and cha racterized its decay.The B(E2;10 +rarr8+)values between vh 11 2/n states in the Sn isotopes are found to decrease sharply from N=66 to N=70, but not as drastically as in the corresponding N=82 isotones with Z=66– 70.
