The Authors report the first Italian case of Hay- Wells syndrome. This girl shows the typical findings of AEC syndrome: ankyloblepharon, ectodermal dysplasia and cleft lip with cleftpalate. The phenotypic spectrum of the syndrome and the differential diagnosis are discussed.
