The socio-motivational model of enuresis and the derived toilet training treatment by Foxx and Azrin have been tested in an A-B-A-B single subject experiment. The patient, a 60-yr old psychiatric resident, who was severely impaired from alcoholic dementia, has been retrained by means of the Foxx and Azrin technical package. The procedure appears to be effective in controlling the continency of the patient.
