The history of agroecosystem landscapes in northeastern Italy from pre-Roman times to the present day is summarized. Landscape design, crops, weed and animal pest interactions are analyzed historically. Vegetational patterns and invertebrate distribution as affected by hedgerows, river-bank borders and trees plus weed distribution patterns are examined. Trends in agroecosystem management for the future are discussed, including vegetational complexity and minimum and no-tillage. © 1989.

Abstract
The history of agroecosystem landscapes in northeastern Italy from pre-Roman times to the present day is summarized. Landscape design, crops, weed and animal pest interactions are analyzed historically. Vegetational patterns and invertebrate distribution as affected by hedgerows, river-bank borders and trees plus weed distribution patterns are examined. Trends in agroecosystem management for the future are discussed, including vegetational complexity and minimum and no-tillage. © 1989.File in questo prodotto:
