Adsorption isotherms of H-2 and He-4 on Rb measured with a quartz microbalance are presented. They clearly show sharp prewetting transitions. For H-2 on Rb a wetting temperature T(W)= 17.89+/-0.04K is found. He-4 isotherms below the lambda point show the characteristic frequency drop due to superfluid onset.

Abstract

Adsorption isotherms of H-2 and He-4 on Rb measured with a quartz microbalance are presented. They clearly show sharp prewetting transitions.
