The alpha-alpha elastic scattering is analysed in terms of nuclear separable plus Coulomb interaction. The experimental phase shifts up to about 70 MeV in the laboratory frame are well accounted for by rank-2 S-wave potential (solution a of table I) and rank-1, D- and G-wave potentials (table II). The equivalent (energy- and momentum-dependent) local potentials extracted from the above-mentioned separable interactions show a correct behaviour of hard-core plus attractive shape. All previous analyses of the literature are also discussed for comparison. © 1980 Società Italiana di Fisica.

Abstract
The alpha-alpha elastic scattering is analysed in terms of nuclear separable plus Coulomb interaction. The experimental phase shifts up to about 70 MeV in the laboratory frame are well accounted for by rank-2 S-wave potential (solution a of table I) and rank-1, D- and G-wave potentials (table II). The equivalent (energy- and momentum-dependent) local potentials extracted from the above-mentioned separable interactions show a correct behaviour of hard-core plus attractive shape. All previous analyses of the literature are also discussed for comparison. © 1980 Società Italiana di Fisica.File in questo prodotto:
