Abstract
To evaluate the function of energy sources it is important to consider the energy and power density of conversion and storage systems. Density changes of energy through power plants have a remarkable influence upon plant efficiency and feedback requirements of the system. Thermal energy production from non-renewable sources, including combustion chambers and nuclear reactors, energy transformation by fluid-operated machines (turbomachines, volumetric machines), electric machines, and from renewable energy sources is analyzed. The role of the various energy sources in energy quality is examined.File in questo prodotto:
