Operative Hysteroscopy is a new surgical approach in many gynaecologic benign uterine conditions. Nowadays, with the help of improved instrumentation it became possible performing less invasive surgery, "respecting" the anatomic pelvic structures, therefore reducing hospital stay and costs. In the management of submucous and intramural myomas, transcervical surgery plays en important role. Resecting the myomas without the dissection of the myometrial uterine external layer and avoiding disrupture of the uterine wall ensures a successful outcome in infertile women, reducing the needfor elective caesarean section at delivery. This study presents our experience in hysteroscopy myomectomy and includes 20 patients which underwent transcervical resection between August 1994- Dicember 1996 in the Gynaecologic Clinic of Padua University.

Abstract
This study presents our experience in hysteroscopy myomectomy and includes 20 patients which underwent transcervical resection between August 1994- Dicember 1996 in the Gynaecologic Clinic of Padua University.Pubblicazioni consigliate
