The paper deals with the design and development of a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for the speed and current control of a DC motor drive. Details of the FLCs are preliminarly illustrated. The implementation of a pair of small-size look-up tables is presented. Experimental results show the good dynamic performance of the drive.
