Abstract
We consider thin films of binary mixtures coating a substrate which has a strong affinity for one of the components. Through computer simulations we show that phase separation in these films is accompanied by an anomalous roughening of the liquid-vapor interface. We elucidate the origin of this roughening and its relationship to the underlying phase separation process.File in questo prodotto:
