The eta-c has been observed in hadronic decay modes from the 8.6 x 10(6) J/psi's collected by the DM2 experiment at DCI. The eta-c-mass is set to (2974.4 +/- 1.9) MeV/c2. Its pseudoscalar character is measured from the eta-c --> rho-0-rho-0 and phi-phi. decays. The observation of the eta-c --> phi-phi decay fixes the eta-c-isospin to zero and the G-parity to be positive. An upper limit of GAMMA-gamma-gamma(eta-c) is set from the search for the eta-c --> gamma-gamma decay.
