The paper deals with the fuzzy logic control of a DC servo drive. The fundamentals of the fuzzy logic are preliminarily illustrated, pointing out the aspects related to the control under consideration. A fuzzy logic controller (FLC) of the position of a DC motor is then designed and simulated. The results show that the use of a FLC in the position loop gives the drive superior performance.
