The Regional Anti-Doping Laboratory (ADL) complies with the structural, organizational and other requirements of the guidelines established in the Italian "State-Regions agreement" of 28 July 2005 and its activities include differential analytical diagnostics, with toxicologicaland clinical chemical analyses on biological and non-biological matrices with a view to identifying prohibited substances and practices (e.g. etiological factors in doping-related diseases) to help achieve the correlated goals of doping prevention and control.
