The authors report their experience in the treatment of 21 patients with carcinoma in situ of the bladder. Although the safest therapy is radical cystectomy this operation nevertheless is extremely mutilating. For this reason we prefer local chemotherapy with ADM continued with careful follow-up of the patient.
