Abstract
The remarkable beta-sheet forming properties of the sparingly soluble, fully blocked dipeptide Ac-L-Ala-L-Thr(Palm)-NH2 were investigated in a variety of solvent mixtures by IR absorption. In particular, it was found that mixtures of halohydrocarbons and haloalcohols are extremely efficient for disrupting self-association and enhancing solubility of this peptide model compound.File in questo prodotto:
