Abstract

The Authors present a case-report of a severe intravasation ('turp syndrome') during a hysteroscopic myomectomy and they stress the importance of a good knowledge of the risks in order to prevent complications. The importance of a close collaboration between the gynaecologist and the anaesthiologist in the management of these cases is also underscored.
