Children with visuospatial impairments often showed academic difficulties in arithmetic, geometry, geography, drawing and social interactions. The child version of the SVS questionnaire - based on the SVS for teachers (Molin and Cornoldi, 2003) - has been devised in order to allow an early identification of children with visuospatial difficulties. It examines academic and visuospatial difficulties typically associated with a profile of nonverbal learning disabilities. The results revealed that the SVS questionnaire for children is an useful tool both for scholastic and clinical settings.

Abstract
Children with visuospatial impairments often showed academic difficulties in arithmetic, geometry, geography, drawing and social interactions. The child version of the SVS questionnaire - based on the SVS for teachers (Molin and Cornoldi, 2003) - has been devised in order to allow an early identification of children with visuospatial difficulties. It examines academic and visuospatial difficulties typically associated with a profile of nonverbal learning disabilities. The results revealed that the SVS questionnaire for children is an useful tool both for scholastic and clinical settings.File in questo prodotto:
