Abstract

The paper presents the activity carried out at the Laboratory of Hydrogeology of the University of Padua in order to reconstruct the three-dimensional surface of a moving granular mass along an experimental channel. The survey was performed using eight cameras equipped with different focal length lenses. The images have been processed using terrestrial photogrammetric techniques. Shooting synchronization, lighting, period of shutter opening, transmission and acquisition speed of the generated data, are some of the addressed and solved problems. Finally, some examples of the elaborated experimental tests are showed.
