La struttura dell’offerta di formazione professionale pubblica in Italia. Linee di tendenza nei processi di trasformazione dei sistemi regionali

The analysis focuses on most relevant lines of development in VET regional systems on the basis of findings highlighted in a recent study promoted by ISFOL on the structure of public VET provision in Italy. In particular, the article explores how regional systems have been improved in recent years, in order to be more capable to tackle effects produced by global crisis and changing educational needs. The analysis adopts a qualita- tive approach, considering evaluations expressed by key actors. At the beginning a general framework on main current lines of evolution affecting VET systems in the international scenario is proposed, according to OECD and European Commission analysis. On this basis, a synthetic overview of the Italian case is subsequently introduced. In the final section, the authors propose a scheme aimed at locating different regional systems with relation to their level of accountability in facing consequences produced by the global crisis.
