The research aims to contribute to the validation of the Emotions Attribution Test 1 for the adolescent age. We first take into consideration the theoretical models and scientific studies that support the research project itself and identify themselves as a key to understanding the subject matter. Some of these, the most famous factorial model of Blair and Cipollotti (2000) 2, takes into account the different components of social cognition in relation to the ability of the attribution-emotion understanding. We will explore further the issue of alexithymia, psycho-emotional disorder present in the adolescent and adulthood population. The test object validation is considerable as one of the assessment tools best suited for cognition and emotion has been previously validated for adulthood 3. This test is considered, according to scientific data collected by the authors, the most sensitive to the influence factor, such as gender, age and education.
